Hours: 9 Hours Per Day (Day & Night Shift Coverage Required)

About the Role

Elite Resource Australia is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join the ongoing Operations and Maintenance team at Wellington Solar Farm.

This position is initially offered for a three-month engagement, with the possibility of extending for a further three months for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will support the site's operational maintenance program and undertake a range of HV and electrical maintenance activities across the solar farm and associated HV infrastructure. Two days of site-specific training will be provided before commencing work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform High Voltage switching and isolation activities
- Conduct routine site operations and maintenance
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works
- Support maintenance activities across substations, MV panels, and MCR facilities
- Perform HV testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities
- Conduct routine inspections of switchboards, inverters, fuse arrays, and associated HV equipment
- Assist with fault response,



troubleshooting, and SCADA-related reporting
- Maintain compliance with site safety systems, permits, and operational procedures
- Work collaboratively with site management and maintenance personnel
- Work day and night shifts as required

Requirements

- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- HV Switching Certification / Authorisation
- Demonstrated experience performing HV switching and maintenance activities
- Experience working within substations, MV switchgear, and MCR environments
- Current Construction White Card
- Current LVR/CPR Certification
- Previous Solar Farm or Renewable Energy experience highly regarded
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport (DIDO role)
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance

Rates

TFN

- $75/hr – Normal Time
- $103/hr – OT1
- $118/hr – OT2
