We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy and fast-paced steel/scrap metal recycling facility located in Burleigh Heads. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable operator looking to secure long-term employment with a well-established business.
About the Role
- Operating forklifts in a steel.scrap metal recycling environment
- Loading and unloading steel products and scrap materials
- Maintaining a secure and efficient work area
- Assisting with general yard duties as required
- Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm
To Be Successful You Must Have
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Previous experience working in the steel industry or recycling sector (essential)
- Experience handling steel products and heavy materials
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights
- No Working Holiday Visa holders
- No Student Visa holders
