Workfast is currently seeking experienced and reliable Container Unloaders / Forklift Operators to join our client's busy operation based at the Port of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities
- Packing and unpacking containers and freight
- Loading and unloading a variety of cargo including: FAK Freight, Steel products, Gyprock, Machinery, General freight
- Securing cargo and preparing flat racks
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Completing paperwork and freight documentation accurately
- Following instructions and workplace procedures
- Performing general labouring duties as required
- Maintaining housekeeping and site cleanliness
- Working safely in all weather conditions
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Adhering to all WH&S; policies and procedures
What You Bring to the Team
- Current Forklift Licence
- Minimum 3 years forklift operating experience
- Experience packing and unpacking containers preferred (training provided)
- Ability to safely handle various types of freight
- Experience operating larger forklifts up to 16T preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and complete paperwork accurately
- Willingness to perform physical labouring duties
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
Important Requirements
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Monthly Drug & Alcohol testing is conducted on-site
- Safety is a non-negotiable requirement for this role
