The Role
As a Project Manager / Senior Security Technician, you'll take ownership of multiple electronic security projects while remaining actively involved in technical delivery where required.
You'll work closely with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Security Technician looking to progress into project management, or an existing Project Manager who enjoys staying connected to the technical side of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage electronic security projects from commencement through to completion.
Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources.
Assist with system commissioning,
fault finding, programming, testing, and final handovers where required.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to field technicians.
Manage project schedules, procurement, budgets, variations, and reporting.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, Australian Standards, and company quality procedures.
Complete project documentation, commissioning records, and client handover documentation.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
Experience as a Senior Security Technician, Project Manager, or similar role within the electronic security industry.
Strong technical knowledge of:
CCTV
Access Control
Intruder Alarm Systems
Integrated Security Platforms
Experience commissioning and troubleshooting complex electronic security systems.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience managing projects, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Simpro experience highly regarded).
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Current NSW Class 2BC Security Licence (essential).
