The Position

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Field Service Technician based from our Caboolture branch.

The successful candidate will provide assistance to Service Manager and be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs,



and diagnostics on a variety of diesel-powered construction equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, crushing and screening products.

Responsibilities

- Role model safety within the branch

- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered construction equipment

- Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and replacements as needed

- Identify and diagnose issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other equipment

- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service

- Maintain accurate and complete service records

About you

In order to be considered, solid commitment to safety, you will come from a heavy equipment service background within any relatable industry.

If you've worked in a trade role construction equipment, mining, forestry, waste & recycling, access equipment, forklifts, generators, compressors or any other relevant equipment, we want to speak with you!

Key candidate criteria are:

- Relevant Trade Qualification of Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Mobile Plant Mechanic

- Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment, access equipment, ag equipment or trucks

- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostics skills

- Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

- Strong computer literacy
