Well established privately owned business experiencing strong growth. Looking for a dedicated truck driver with a good work ethic and robust team work mentality.
This is a full time position for a driver to settle into a role, learn and meet new people and deal with regular clients.
The run that this driver will be doing is a Sydney Metro Run that will mean you need to be on site to pick up your truck which will be pre-loaded at 5am and getting on the road by 5:30 am. You will be regularly expected to work 8 to 10 hour days and overtime will be paid for these hours.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Restrain and check over truck, deliver materials from factory to site. All trucks are pre loaded by a loading team before you arrive.
- Assist around factory when on down time, plenty of opportunity for paid overtime.
- Needs to have attention to detail and be thorough in checking off loads and paperwork.
- Must be able to read and comprehend paperwork provided with loads.
- Capable of doing physical work assisting loading and unloading trucks
