Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time
- Temporary, 12-month contract, with potential future growth opportunity.
- Level 5, Salary: $93,410 to $99,503 pro‑rata plus superannuation.
- Part‑time position, approximately 2 days per week, with flexibility to tailor hours and work patterns.

The Opportunity
Mandurah's parks, reserves, and public open spaces are at the heart of our community, providing places for recreation, connection and enjoyment. As the City continues to invest, we are seeking a Project Officer to help plan, deliver and improve a diverse range of projects and programs.
Working within the Landscape Management team, you will contribute to public open space planning, asset management, signage and memorial programs, and the delivery of projects that enhance the City’s parks and reserves. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, developers and the community to achieve practical and lasting outcomes.
This role is part‑time over the next two years as part of a planned transition. It offers opportunity for progressive responsibility, with potential to evolve into a full‑time position.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Asset Management or a related discipline.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- Experience in project coordination, delivery, parks and reserves, landscape design, open space planning or a related field.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Well‑developed organisational, research and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, specifications, reports or scopes of work.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
