- Strategic Multi-Cloud Frontier: Take the lead in coordinating the design, build, deployment, and operation of critical cloud and AI infrastructure within a premier Federal Government department.
- Next-Generation Transformation: Drive a pivotal transition as the department shifts from an Azure-only platform into an advanced multi-cloud environment spanning Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will champion an automation-first operating model underpinned by Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps pipelines, and self-service provisioning.

Role & Responsibilities
- Vendor & Service Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional supplier delivery across cloud platforms, automated security, infrastructure engineering, and continuous sustainment activities.
- Workflow Planning & Prioritisation: Facilitate sprint planning, work allocation, backlog tracking, and deliverable prioritization across internal divisions, project squads, and business stakeholders.
- Risk & Impediment Mitigation: Proactively manage delivery risks, technical dependencies, systemic issues, and project blockers, executing clear escalation pathways where required.
- Governance & Reporting:
Orchestrate performance reporting metrics against key milestones, delivery dates, and shifting resource demands to satisfy departmental governance frameworks.
- Service Transition Lifecycle: Seamlessly align multi-cloud delivery pipelines with formal change control processes, IT service management (ITSM), and business-as-usual (BAU) operational handovers.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
- Delivery Leadership: Demonstrated experience operating as an ICT or Cloud Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead, or Senior Project Manager within a complex enterprise environment.
- Team & Vendor Coordination: A proven track record orchestrating highly technical engineering teams, external sellers, and senior business stakeholders within Agile, DevOps, or hybrid structures.
- Governance Acumen: Deep capability in delivery governance, critical path dependency mapping, and risk mitigation, paired with the ability to translate technical milestones into explicit, executive-ready updates.
- Capabilities Alignment: Indicative alignment with SFIA Level 5 (DLMG, RLMT) and Level 4 to 5 (PEMT, POMG).
- Desirable Toolkit: Prior exposure to modern cloud infrastructure, cyber security, or DevOps engineering squads; familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, multi-supplier models, or ITIL service transition frameworks.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
- Security Clearance: Due to the secure nature of this federal government environment, candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance, with an NV2 clearance preferred.
