An established food manufacturing business in the Bathurst region is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering team.

The Opportunity
Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently while supporting planned maintenance and improvement projects across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to electrical breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Completing preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
- Fault finding across automated production and packaging equipment
- Working with motors, VSDs, sensors, conveyors and control systems
- Assisting with equipment upgrades and installation projects
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety and food quality requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A current NSW Electrical Licence
- Experience as a Maintenance Electrician within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding experience highly regarded)
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- The ability to work well both independently and within a team
