Our client is a global service provider to the mining and aggregate industries. Due to consistent projects forecasted, we are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their workshop team based in Newcastle.

If you're a qualified Mechanical Fitter looking to partner with a global leader in fixed plant overhauls, then we want to hear from you!

What's involved?

- Overhauls of fixed plant, including but not limited to pumps, screens and valves
- Strip, assess and rebuild projects in a large, workshop team setting
- Use of precision measuring equipment including micrometers

What we're looking for:

- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Forklift ticket - must have
- Proactive attitude and diligence
- Great teamwork ability




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great references to support your application

What we can offer you

- Casual rate $61 - $62 / hour
- Monday - Friday
- Day shift 6 - 2:30 with some overtime available
