We are a dynamic boutique law firm seeking a motivated and capable Criminal / Family Lawyer with 1-3 years post-admission experience (PAE) to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly energetic and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is looking to develop their skills across both criminal and family law matters.
About The Role
You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a diverse caseload, including criminal and family law matters. The role offers hands-on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to take ownership of files with appropriate supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with a varied caseload in criminal and family law
- Appear in court (as appropriate to experience) and assist with advocacy preparation
- Draft legal documents, correspondence,
and court materials
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate file management and meet deadlines
About You
- 1-3 years PAE in criminal and/or family law
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Energetic, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
- A genuine interest in criminal and family law
