Wellness and Beauty Spa is seeking an ambitious and confident Wellness & Beauty Centre Manager to lead our exciting new wellness destination in the heart of Surfer Paradise, Gold Coast.

This isn't just a management role—you'll be instrumental in building and growing the centre from the ground up.

About the Role

As our Wellness & Beauty Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic while inspiring your team to consistently deliver five-star service and outstanding business results.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Leading and motivating a team of therapists and clinicians.
- Managing the daily operations of the wellness and beauty centre.
- Providing hands‑on treatments when required.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and client experiences.
- Welcome clients into their treatment experience by preparing equipment and ensuring their comfort
- Assist clients with the safe and comfortable use of wellness equipment and therapies
- Design and launch premium wellness experiences, signature pamper packages and new treatment offerings that deliver exceptional client experiences and support business growth.
- Deliver training and ongoing coaching to therapists in selected treatments and wellness therapies.
- Support the onboarding, development and competency of therapists across selected treatment protocols.
- Design and document treatment protocols,



operational procedures and training resources using written manuals and instructional videos.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver an engaging calendar of wellness events, workshops and experiences, including sound healing, meditation, breathwork, retreats and special community events.
- Develop, coordinate, promote and manage a national calendar of short, non-accredited wellness and beauty workshops across Australia. Identify emerging industry trends and introduce innovative workshops, education programs.
- Driving sales, memberships and treatment package growth.
- Achieving business goals and KPI targets.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
- Rostering and workforce planning.
- Managing stock control and supplier relationships.
- Overseeing reception, bookings and client enquiries.
- Driving retail skincare and wellness product sales.
- Maintaining premium presentation and operational standards.
- Working closely with the marketing team on promotions, events and campaigns.
- Building a positive, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Developing and managing our Wellness Retreats and Solo Connections programs.
- Identifying new business opportunities and implementing initiatives to support the continued growth of the business.

About You

You are passionate about wellness, beauty and helping people feel their absolute best.

You are a confident leader who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions and creating positive outcomes for both clients and your team.

You will ideally have:

- Previous management experience within a wellness centre, beauty clinic, day spa, aesthetics clinic, medical clinic or other premium customer service workplace.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.




- A strong customer service focus with exceptional communication skills.
- A track record of achieving sales targets and driving business performance.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets and daily business operations.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- A professional, positive and solutions-focused attitude.
- Confidence working independently and making decisions.
- Experience with booking and practice management software (preferred).

Flexibility to work some weekends.

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by actively participating in training and upskilling opportunities.

Experience in the beauty or wellness industry is essential. You must have the knowledge, confidence and practical experience to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Experience in aesthetics is highly regarded but not essential. Applicants without aesthetics experience must be willing to support and work alongside our aesthetics therapists, contribute to the growth of the aesthetics department, and play an active role in establishing and expanding this area of the business as it develops.
