The role: The High School English Tutor will be responsible for delivering top quality small group English education to Year 6-9 high school students, using tutoring materials and resources provided by our company. They will play a crucial role in supporting our students' academic growth, honing their English skills and help them feel comfortable for school assignments and the HSC.The ideal candidate is passionate about English and sharing their knowledge with others. They are patient, understanding and adept at explaining complex concepts in simple, understandable terms.



They should be comfortable working with small groups of high school students and have a firm grasp of English literature and grammar concepts. The ideal candidate will also understand the workings of the HSC as well as the preparation procedures involved.

Qualifications & Experience:

Exceptional marks in the HSC (Band 6 result) OR

Bachelor of Education (Secondary) OR

English adjacent degree (Law, Philosophy)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Deliver top-quality learning experiences with Knoji's materials

Provide actionable and personalised feedback to the student

Manage students appropriately to ensure successful completion of learning objectives

Check-in with students' knowledge and retention of concepts

Share teaching insights and expertise with other members of the team during staff debriefing and training sessions
