Job Description

Sourcify Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Professionals design, plan, and oversee construction of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, pipelines, and utilities; analyse soil and structural behaviour, develop transportation systems, and estimate and manage project costs to ensure safe and efficient outcomes Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects including residential developments, infrastructure, and related systems. Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and prepare and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Coordinate site operations, including managing labour, materials, plant, and equipment, and ensuring activities align with project schedules.

Conduct geotechnical assessments by collecting and analysing soil and rock samples to determine load-bearing capacity and site suitability. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and detailed project plans based on architectural and engineering drawings. Monitor project progress, assess design changes, and evaluate cost impacts, including managing and negotiating variations.

Analyse structural systems under static and dynamic loads to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with engineering standards. Design and assess structures to ensure durability and resistance to collapse, deformation, or excessive vibration. Evaluate transportation and site access requirements, considering current and future usage needs.





Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering (AQF Level 7 or equivalent). Skills and knowledge consistent with ANZSCO Skill Level 1, including relevant professional experience and/or on-the-job training where applicable.

Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles in construction, design, and project delivery. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards. A positive Migration Skills Assessment from Engineers Australia (via Washington Accord or CDR pathway).

Relevant work experience of minimum 3 years preferred in civil engineering or construction projects. Registration or licensing may be required depending on the role and location. About Company
