Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and client‑focused Occupational Therapist Contractor to join their growing team in Tweed Heads. This role offers a diverse caseload across NDIS, paediatrics, and community‑based services, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the lifespan.

Part‑time hours available. Flexible contractor opportunity | Full‑time or part‑time. Competitive contractor rates / percentage split.

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible contractor opportunity with a supportive multidisciplinary team and a varied caseload?

This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive team environment.

As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:

- Conduct functional capacity assessments and prepare comprehensive reports
- Complete assistive technology assessments and recommendations
- Deliver ongoing therapy services focused on capacity building and goal attainment
- Conduct cognitive assessments and provide appropriate recommendations
- Provide paediatric occupational therapy services within a clinic environment
- Deliver community and in‑home services, including home modifications and equipment prescription
- Collaborate with clients, families, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals




- Maintain accurate documentation and NDIS‑compliant reports

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Experience working within the NDIS sector
- Paediatric occupational therapy experience
- Experience with assistive technology, home modifications, and functional assessments
- Community‑based therapy experience
- Highly Regarded
