Short Description

Seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor/ Foreman OR a proven leading hand ready to step up to run commercial fit-out and construction projects across Sydney. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will manage site operations, lead crews, manage site operations, coordinate with builders and drive delivery across a variety of electrical works including fit‑outs, warehouse builds/fit outs and health upgrades. Ideal for experienced Supervisor/ Foremen or Leading Hands ready to step up.

Our client is an established Sydney electrical contractor delivering commercial fit-outs, industrial projects, and infrastructure works across NSW.

With a strong pipeline of work and repeat clients, they specialise in fast‑paced commercial projects and are continuing to grow their project delivery capability. Known for their hands‑on leadership and tight‑knit team, they offer a stable environment with genuine progression opportunities.

About the role

This is a key site leadership role where you will take responsibility for running projects day‑to‑day. You will manage electricians and apprentices, coordinate with builders and Project Managers, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This role suits someone who can step in and take control of a job without handholding.





Duties

- Run day-to-day site operations
- Lead and manage electricians and apprentices on-site
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Plan labour, materials, and site workflow
- Prepare and manage material orders
- Coordinate with Project Managers, builders, and other trades
- Ensure projects are delivered to program and deadlines
- Maintain quality control and safety compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues
- Drive productivity and performance on-site

Skills & experience (What we’re really looking for)

Non-negotiables

- NSW Electrical License
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman / Supervisor
- Ability to run a job independently from start to finish
- Strong communication with builders, suppliers, and site teams
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
- Proven experience ordering materials and managing site logistics
- Experience working with Tier 2 Or Tier 3 builders

Technical experience

- Strong background in commercial construction and fit‑outs
- Experience with submains, cabling, and switchboards
- Strong understanding of site coordination and project delivery

- AS 3003 Knowledge and Experience
- Open Cabler License (or willingness to obtain – company will support)
- Commscope Certification
