Join Our Companion Animal (CA) Commercial Team!

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our Companion Animal (CA) Commercial team. Reporting to the Regional Manager North, this full-time position will be responsible for maintaining existing clients (vets and pet retailers) and identifying and developing new opportunities to position Vetoquinol as a preferred animal health company in the market.

Coverage:South Brisbane to Northern NSW with regional (including North Queensland) travel.

Residence:ideally Gold Coast but other locations may be considered, if feasible, to manage the territory

Travel: due to expansive territory, regular overnight travel required (approximately 2 weeks per quarter).

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve agreed product sales objectives and territory targets by promoting and selling a range of products and services to new and existing customers in accordance with the business strategy.

Work within the veterinary and retail channel to identify opportunities for campaigns, services,



and communication strategies that will lead to increased sales.

Target and segment the nominated territory, working cross-functionally to devise a customized plan that creates sustainable sales and service opportunities.

Ensure customers are adequately trained and supported to enhance product stewardship.

Establish a territory call plan around customer prioritization, product objectives, annual sales targets, profit objectives, and individual territory targets.

Manage our CRM system daily.

Maintain and develop robust lines of communication and relationships with existing and potential customers.

About You:

Proven commercial experience in sales and major accounts management.

Successful track record in sales conversion.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry (pet/companion animal area would be advantages but not essential).

Confidence to train and present to technical and medical professionals

Ability to travel as needed.

Strong commercial acumen, including financial targets related to costs, profits, market, and added values.

Demonstrated key competencies for success: customer centricity, adaptability, results-driven, sales persuasion, and relationship management.
