Australia-Wide Prospect | Message Queue Developer (RabbitMQ) | Citizens Eligible for Clearance Only

We are looking for an experienced Message Queue Developer with strong expertise in RabbitMQ and enterprise messaging solutions to design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and resilient messaging platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
- Implement enterprise messaging patterns including Publish/Subscribe, Work Queues, Request/Reply, Event-Driven Messaging, Fan-Out, and Topic Routing.
- Configure and manage RabbitMQ Exchanges, Queues, Bindings, Routing Keys, Virtual Hosts, and Access Controls.
- Implement Dead Letter Queues (DLQs), retry mechanisms, error handling, and message durability.
- Support high availability, clustering, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for messaging platforms.
- Monitor messaging performance, troubleshoot queue issues, and optimize throughput.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise integration solutions.




- Support deployments across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.

Required Skills

- Strong hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ and enterprise messaging platforms.
- Expertise in asynchronous messaging, event‑driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with RabbitMQ administration, clustering, and high‑availability configurations.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOA, middleware, and system‑to‑system integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, and automated deployments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and production support experience.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with WebMethods, API Gateways, or Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
- Exposure to Energy, Utilities, Government, or Critical Infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting secure, enterprise‑scale integration platforms.
