About the role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced nursing leader to join Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services (MHDA) at Orange Health Centre as a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) Reliever.

The role provides leadership and oversight of staff, services, and resources to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care while relieving across inpatient mental health units during NUM leave.

The successful applicant will contribute to clinical governance, workforce management, service improvement, and quality and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards. We are seeking a proactive and motivated skilled with strong leadership skills, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Based at Orange Health Campus, this position supports a range of specialist inpatient services, including child and adolescent, forensic rehabilitation, mental health intensive care, adult acute, older persons acute, and non-acute mental health units, working alongside multidisciplinary teams dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health care.
