About the role
Providestrategic procurement advice and lead sourcing and contract management activities to support effective, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes. You will:
- Partner with stakeholders to plan and lead sourcing activities andestablishfit-for-purpose supply arrangements
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across a diverse range of categories, including goods, services, ICT, skilled services, and construction-related procurements
- Support the disclosure of procurement information under GIPA(Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009), including contract disclosures and reporting requirements.
- Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to uplift organisational capability
- Identifyand mitigate procurement risks while ensuring strong governance practices
- Undertake market analysis and business needs assessments to inform procurement strategies
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and documentation
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure consistent procurement approaches
About you
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Strong experience in procurement, sourcing,
and contract management within a complex environment
- Sound knowledge of procurement frameworks, policies, and governance requirements
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clear and practical advice
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
