As aMining Engineer,you’ll work closely with a team of experienced professionals to plan, monitor and optimise underground mining operations. This is a hands‑on role where your contributions will directly support protected, productive and cost-effective outcomes.

Roster

This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW working an 8/6 days FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement drill and blast plans
- Stope design, optimisation and reconciliation.
- Provide technical input into daily, weekly, and monthly mine plans
- Monitor development and production performance
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure plan compliance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated underground hard rock mining experience is essential
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Exposure to mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Surpac) will be highly regarded
