We are seeking an experienced Design & Estimating Manager to lead our design and estimating functions across a range of façade projects. This senior role is responsible for delivering compliant, innovative, and commercially competitive solutions from tender through to detailed design, fabrication, and installation.

We are seeking an experienced Design & Estimating Manager to lead our design and estimating functions across a range of façade projects. This senior role is responsible for delivering compliant, innovative, and commercially competitive solutions from tender through to detailed design, fabrication, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the design and estimating functions to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
- Prepare and oversee accurate, competitive tender submissions,



including cost estimates and technical proposals.
- Manage the façade design process from tender support through to fabrication and installation.
- Review project documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements, the National Construction Code (NCC), and relevant Australian Standards.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, project managers, and site teams to deliver practical and cost-effective design solutions.
- Review and approve design drawings, technical documentation, and tender submissions.
- Identify technical and commercial risks and implement value engineering initiatives to improve project outcomes.
- Maintain design standards, estimating systems, and cost databases while promoting continuous improvement.

About You

You will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years' experience in the façade, glazing, or construction industry, including 5 years in a design, estimating, or management role.
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, construction methods, Australian Standards, and the NCC.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, estimating software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and commercial skills.
