About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Building and Maintenance Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a premium residential apartment complex in Perth’s CBD.
Working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll help ensure the property is maintained to a high standard, contractors are effectively managed, and residents receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Facilities Manager in overseeing building operations and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist in the management and coordination of service providers and maintenance contractors
- Conduct routine building inspections and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate contractor inductions and ensure all works comply with WHS and site requirements
- Monitor building systems and identify opportunities for preventative maintenance
- Participate in an after-hours roster to attend emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance when required
- Attending to minor maintenance and repairs
About You
You are a practical problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and delivering outstanding service.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- 2+ years' experience in a maintenance or similar role
- A trade qualification or strong technical maintenance background
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with contractors, residents and stakeholders
