About This Opportunity

Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Part-time (80%, Mon-Fri), fixed-term position through to June 2028. Base salary will be in the range $97,268 - $104,348 + 17% super (HEW Level 6). On campus role based at our conveniently located Long Pocket campus

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating secretariat and administrative services, including project relevant committee meetings, activities, engagements, travel arrangements and visitor support.
- Supporting the delivery cycle for TERN Australia initiatives, including project planning, milestone monitoring, reporting, evaluation and communications activities.
- Reviewing and reconciling project transactions, tracking expenditure and contributing to accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Providing executive assistance to the Director, TERN Australia, and helping coordinate stakeholder communications, including newsletters and webinar support.

About You

- A Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training, along with demonstrated experience supporting projects, operational activities or executive functions.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, communications materials and build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating operational or project activities, including monitoring progress, maintaining records and supporting the delivery of key outcomes.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience providing high quality executive, office or operational support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, with experience in a university, research, government or similarly complex environment being highly regarded.
