About the role:
- Experience working with large earth moving equipment.
- Experience completing required safety duties such as job inspections, JSA’s and SLAM’s.
- Proven strong commitment to Health and Safety and communicate any safety or maintenance issues.
- Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance skills.
- You can complete work tasks within set timeframes.
- You are a team player, while at the same time being proactive and able to work autonomously.
- You have a recognised Australian trade certificate.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience in the mining industry with exposure to Mining Maintenance (heavy machinery & equipment).
- Certificate III in Diesel Fitting Technology (Engineering).
- High Risk Work Licenses (EWP, Forklift, Overhead Gantry Crane, Non Slew Crane, Vehicle loading crane, Dogging, Rigging).
- Nationally recognised certificates for Enter and work in confined space, Gas test atmospheres, Work safely at heights (Current within the last 2 years).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Current Australian Open Drivers Licence.
- You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol screening.
- Current S11.
- QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical.
