Padre Coffee is currently recruiting! We're looking for a full time regional operations manager for our Noosa site, to oversee production, retail and site management.

Who you are:

You're a self-professed specialty coffee nerd. You have excellent communication skills and can build positive, lasting relationships with customers. You have experience working in production and retail and have previously led a team.

You take pride in your work and enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative team environment, building and developing a team and having a leadership role in the business.

You enjoy variety in your daily tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment.

You are organised and capable of working autonomously to ensure all required work is completed yet can flex where needed to ensure customers get what they need when they need it.

Key accountabilities:





Understand the importance of building a great team culture aligned to the Padre values

Hire, train and develop a motivated and high performing team to deliver a great customer experience and quality products at all times.

Build on their passion for coffee by developing their coffee knowledge and supporting them to share this with our customers.

Production:

Maintaining high-quality product standards through production, fulfilling and delivering orders. Build and develop your team to deliver to the same.

Plan production schedules and ensure orders are dispatched promptly.

Hands-on coffee roasting and quality assurance.

Oversee cleaning & building/equipment maintenance schedules and required repairs.

Manage inventory to ensure accurate stock on hand at all times and minimise stock loss.

Work with the wider Padre team to ensure adequate stock is available to deliver on customer orders at all times.

Retail

Work through the retail store manager to ensure that we deliver exceptional quality products and customer service to our customers at all times.

Ensure we hire, train and develop the team to deliver to on the Padre values.

Work through the retail manager to support them to build revenue and manage costs to budget.

Essential skills

Passion for all things coffee!

Minimum 2+ years coffee industry experience required with prior roasting, front-of-house and people leadership experience.

Strong customer service and a passion for going the extra mile to deliver for our customers.

Ability to work in and lead a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills.

Good understanding of WH&S; and Food Safety requirements.

Driver's license
