ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Graduate Environment at Appin Mine, you will gain practical experience supporting environmental monitoring, inspections, sampling, data collection and compliance activities across a live underground mining operation.
Reporting to the Superintendent Setting & Community,
you will work closely with Environment specialists to build your technical capability while contributing to day-to-day compliance delivery.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site at Appin Mine.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing and contributing to projects assigned by your supervisor.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency that have a genuine business impact
- Working collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Support routine environmental inspections, field monitoring and sampling activities
ABOUT YOU
- Holds atertiary qualification in Environmental studies, Environmental Engineering, Science or a related discipline
- Thrives inboth team settings and independent work.
- Has strongproblem-solving and communication skillstoengage with multiple stakeholders.
- Hasexperience and/or a keen interest in underground mining, environmental compliance and field-based environmental work.
- Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- A C class driver’s licence is required.
