We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter / Machinist that preferably has both workshop and site experience to join our energetic team. This position will include both workshop repairs, overhauls and site maintenance works.

Candidate requirements:

/n

/n

- An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

/n

- Current C Class Drivers Licence

/n

- Be safety conscious

/n

- Have a positive attitude, and an eye for detail

/n

- Be a team player

/n





- Ability to pass an employment medical, drug and alcohol screening

/n

- Local to the South West Region

/n/n

Duties include:

/n

/n

- Read and interpret drawings

/n

- Strip down gearboxes, pumps and miscellaneous equipment

/n

- Assess above for damage, identify repairable items and compile an assessment report detailing replacement parts required

/n

- Carry out mechanical repairs, including machining (if qualified)

/n

- Maintain workspace cleanliness

/n

- Basic machinery maintenance

/n/n

Desirable:

/n

/n

- Working at Heights ticket

/n

- Confined Spaces ticket

/n

- Elevated Work Platform ticket

/n

- White Card

/n

- Forklift ticket

/n/n

Remuneration will be tailored pending experience and qualifications, including paid travel for selected site works.
