We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Clinical Care Lead to join our leadership team. This is a key clinical leadership position suited to a highly capable Registered Nurse who can step into a fast-paced workplace and provide robust operational and clinical direction from day one.

This role is not designed for someone taking their first step into leadership. We are looking for a proven clinical leader with demonstrated experience managing teams, driving compliance, and leading high-quality clinical care outcomes within aged care.

About the Role
/n
Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager, the Clinical Care Lead will oversee the coordination and delivery of clinical care across the facility while supporting and mentoring the broader clinical team.
/n
The successful candidate will play a critical role in:
/n
/n
- Leading and supporting Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers
/n
- Driving compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
/n
- Coordinating clinical care planning and case management
/n
- Supporting clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives
/n
- Managing complex clinical situations and escalations
/n
- Promoting a positive, professional and resident-focused culture
/n
- Assisting with change management and operational improvements
/n
- Supporting staff development,
mentoring and education
/n/n
About You
/n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
/n
/n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
/n
- Minimum 2 years experience within aged care or complex clinical environments
/n
- Previous leadership or management experience within residential aged care
/n
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance requirements
/n
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive accountability
/n
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
/n
- Experience managing clinical documentation, care planning and compliance systems
/n
- A calm, solutions-focused leadership style with the ability to mentor and inspire others
/n
- Availability to support after hours as required
/n/n
Desirable Skills and Experience
/n
/n
- Post graduate qualifications in Dementia, Behavioural Management or Leadership
/n
- Experience leading change management initiatives
/n
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and accreditation processes
/n
- Experience fostering positive workplace culture and team engagement
/n/n
