Job Description
Senior Account Manager – Australia & New Zealand
/n
Join our global, growing team at Klipboard, a leading provider of integrated ERP solutions for the distributive trade. We value flexibility with a hybrid work policy (3 days in office, 2 days remote). This role drives commercial success, retention and growth of a portfolio of strategic Klipboard Rental customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Revenue Retention & Growth/n
/n
- Deliver annual ARR retention and growth targets.
/n
- Own all renewal activity.
/n
- Identify and close expansion opportunities across Klipboard Global product suite.
/n
- Develop and maintain account growth plans.
/n
- Build commercial structures that strengthen long‐term commitment.
/n /n
- Executive Relationship Management/n
/n
- Build and maintain relationships from operational users to C‐Level executives.
/n
- Establish regular executive business reviews.
/n
- Understand customer objectives, challenges and initiatives.
/n
- Position Klipboard as a strategic technology partner.
/n /n
- Account Planning/n
/n
- Maintain documented account plans for all strategic accounts.
/n
- Produce quarterly reviews covering commercial performance, product adoption, risks, opportunities and strategic initiatives.
/n
- Ensure CRM records, forecasts and plans remain accurate.
/n /n
- Success Measures/n
/n
- Gross and net revenue retention (%).
/n
- Expansion ARR closed against target.
/n
- Number and outcome of executive business reviews per quarter.
/n
- Reduction in at‐risk/churn‐flagged accounts.
/n /n
- Customer Advocacy & Escalation Management/n
/n
- Commercial escalation point for assigned customers.
/n
- Coordinate internal resources to resolve critical issues.
/n
- Drive satisfaction and reduce churn risk.
/n
- Implement recovery plans for at‐risk accounts.
/n /n
- Internal Stakeholder Management/n
/n
- Work closely with Qualified Services, Customer Success, Support, Product and Sales Leadership.
/n
- Track and deliver customer commitments.
/n
- Advocate for customer requirements internally.
/n /n
- Forecasting & Reporting/n
/n
- Maintain accurate monthly forecasts.
/n
- Report on renewal pipeline, expansion pipeline, churn risk, customer health and strategic activity.
/n /n/n
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
/n
/n
- 5+ years in senior account management or strategic customer success within enterprise software.
/n
- Direct accountability for revenue retention or expansion targets.
/n
- Experience leading commercial negotiations with C‐Level stakeholders.
/n
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence at executive level.
/n
- Track record of growing existing customer revenue.
/n
- Experience managing complex operational environments.
/n
- Solid understanding of competitive vendor landscape.
/n/n
