Business Analyst

Contract to 20/11/2026 + extension | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid working I $1000 per day inc super

Lime Recruitment is partnering with a Queensland Government department to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support a major enterprise finance transformation.

We're looking for a Business Analyst who has delivered finance system implementations or finance transformation projects and can work closely with Finance stakeholders to redesign business processes, support business readiness and deliver successful organisational outcomes.

We're seeking someone who understands finance operations and can bridge the gap between Finance, ICT and project teams.

The client is looking to move quickly, with interviews commencing as soon as suitable candidates are identified.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture business requirements and validate future-state processes.
- Analyse and document As-Is and To-Be finance business processes.
- Assess business impacts, risks and process improvements associated with the implementation of a current enterprise finance solution.
- Support finance data mapping, migration, validation and reconciliation activities.
- Work with business and technical teams to review integrations and end-to-end business processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution and business readiness activities.
- Develop high-quality BA artefacts including business requirements, process maps and impact assessments.





About You

- Demonstrated experience delivering Finance ERP implementations or finance transformation projects as a Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of finance business processes, such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Budgeting or Financial Reporting.
- Experience facilitating workshops with Finance stakeholders and translating business requirements into solution outcomes.
- Strong experience with business process redesign, As-Is/To-Be process mapping and business readiness.
- Experience supporting finance data migration, data validation and User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience working on enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP ECC6, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Financials, Technology One Financials or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Highly regarded

- SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC6 Finance experience.
- SAP FICO, Concur or Ariba.
- Queensland Government or large enterprise transformation experience.
