About the role The Assistant Manager, Learning Solutions is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination and continuous improvement of AP Psychology & Consulting Services' training and capability delivery function. The role oversees the day-to-day planning, resourcing, quality assurance and delivery of learning solutions, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with client requirements.
Working closely with the Manager, Program Delivery, the position provides leadership to the training team while maintaining operational oversight of training projects, delivery schedules, facilitator management, and utilisation while supporting resource planning, governance, quality assurance and client experience. The Assistant Manager acts as the primary operational lead for the learning solutions portfolio,
ensuring a high standard of service delivery whilst supporting business growth, profitability and delivery excellence.
This role provides direct leadership for the Training Delivery team. Key responsibilities Lead and support the Training Delivery team to achieve delivery objectives Oversee the end-to-end delivery of training programs, eLearning and blended learning solutions Manage project schedules, delivery milestones and competing priorities across the training portfolio Coordinate facilitator allocation, workforce planning and resource utilisation Ensure training projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high-quality standard Monitor delivery risks, issues and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation strategies Act as the primary operational contact for training-related client enquiries and escalations Build trusted client partnerships by delivering exceptional service, proactively identifying needs and supporting long-term client growth, success and retention Drive quality assurance processes across learning design, materials, facilitation and participant experience Monitor project performance, delivery KPIs and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement Contribute to the ongoing development of systems,
processes and ways of working to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in leading training, capability solutions, project delivery or professional services teams, including direct people leadership responsibilities Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with robust planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills Experience delivering or overseeing learning solutions or capability initiatives, including face-to-face, virtual and/or digital learning products Strong operational and commercial acumen, including resource planning, utilisation management, budgeting or project profitability oversight Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility with clients, facilitators and internal stakeholders Qualifications and/or experience in psychology, workplace mental health, psychosocial risk management, or a related discipline with the ability to confidently engage with psychosocial health and safety concepts in client-facing environments Benefits We create a highly person-centred experience for every member of the team We have a deep level of trust and an authentic understanding of each person’s needs and aspirations We recognise everyone fairly based on their role and contribution to the business We invite eligible team members to participate in our Incentive Program, which inspires and rewards exceptional performance against achievement of company and individual performance targets Each team member has a meaningful career journey with us in line with our vision for success
