Dental Excellence Adelaide is seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant with some interest in Dental Receptionist role to join our team . As the Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and providing exceptional patient care.
This is a full-time or part time position to suitable applicant based in Adelaide CBD.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing equipment, passing instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
- Sterilising and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
- Ordering and managing dental supplies to ensure the practice is always well-stocked
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive patient experience
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist, preferably in a dental practice setting desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental software and equipment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
- A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to support the dental team in any way needed
