An award-winning, dynamic and growing FMCG organisation with a super cool lifestyle brand, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its payroll function on an initial six month contract in Sydney or Adelaide (Both Inner West Subs).

This would suit a payroll professional with 3 years end to end payroll experiencing who is a people person, reliable, detail-focused. Chris systems experience is the only major requirement and if you aren't full end to end your knowledge gaps can be taught.

NUTS & BOLTS:

- Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processing in line with established payroll schedules
- Interpret and apply awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and National Employment Standards
- Maintain payroll data accuracy across Chris21 and associated time and attendance systems




- Provide backup support to the Payroll Manager to ensure continuity of payroll delivery
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner
- Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements

ABOUT YOU:

- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an award-based setting
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance obligations
- Experience using payroll systems such as Chris21, iChris
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- A practical, collaborative approach with clear communication skills
