First impressions define a brand's corporate identity. Step into a high-visibility, front-of-house mandate where your professionalism, warmth, and organizational finesse will anchor the daily operations of a leading national enterprise.

The Opportunity

This is a casual role for four months, Davies Stewart are partnering with McMahon Services to recruit a receptionist.

McMahon Services is an industry-leading construction, environmental, and engineering services provider with a reputation built on scale, innovation, and delivery excellence. Whether you are looking to launch your corporate career or leverage your existing front-of-house expertise, this position offers rare, comprehensive exposure to a fast-paced corporate ecosystem. Professional Stability: Secure a permanent, full-time position with structured core business hours (8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday). The Role

Reporting to corporate operations management, you will create an exceptional first impression while executing a broad suite of administrative, logistics, and facilities tasks. Govern the Front-of-House Environment: Welcome walk-in guests, manage visitor and contractor check-in/induction protocols, and maintain an immaculate corporate reception space. Manage Communications: Screen and direct incoming corporate calls with high discretion, manage the central administration inbox, and distribute internal announcements. Oversee Digital Dashboards: Take accountability for the company uniform management platform (processing orders, tracking returns) and the corporate travel dashboard. Coordinate Corporate Logistics: Manage boardroom bookings, coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and couriers, and arrange catering and administrative support for executive events. Facilitate Asset Management: Monitor and replenish corporate stationery, kitchen supplies, and meeting room consumables while logging facilities maintenance requests as required. Safeguard Strict Confidentiality: Maintain absolute professionalism and discretion at all times, particularly when handling sensitive internal data or enquiries from external media.

About You

You are a naturally collaborative, positive team player who pairs an approachable personal style with the meticulous attention to detail required to manage competing priorities. Communication Excellence:

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to engage courteously with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Organizational Rigour: Strong time-management capabilities, with the agility to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic corporate environment. Digital Literacy: Valuable computer competency, including practical proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and basic database management. Proactive Mindset: An intuitive problem-solver who can operate independently with limited supervision, taking pride in doing things right. Logistical & Safety Compliance: Possession of a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle, alongside a willingness to undergo a satisfactory National Police Clearance. Prerequisites: Full current eligibility to work in Australia and the flexibility to occasionally accommodate after-hours business requirements if requested.
