Due to the recent expansion of our showroom and workshop, we are continuing to grow and are looking for a motivated and customer focussed Retail Sales Assistant to join our close-knit team.

Every day is different – one customer may be purchasing their first lawn mower, whilst the next could be a commercial user relying on us to keep their business running.

Working alongside our highly experienced sales and workshop teams, you will:

- Deliver outstanding customer service, both in store and over the phone
- Develop strong relationships with our domestic and commercial customers
- Assist customers in selecting the right products and solutions for their needs
- Book in customer workshop jobs for service and repair
- Be able to identify and locate spare parts for multiple different brands including Stihl, Masport, Victa, Bushranger, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler and more
- Process sales and customer orders and prepare quotations




- Maintain immaculate showroom presentation and stock displays
- Assemble new outdoor power equipment for display, and pre-deliver outgoing equipment
- Receive, check and unpack stock deliveries and enter invoices

You will be someone who:

- Has previous retail sales experience
- Loves working with people and building customer relationships
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is proactive and takes initiative
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has solid attention to detail
- Enjoys learning new skills and continually expanding on product knowledge
- Is physically capable of working in a busy retail environment
- Is a team player who can work well both in a team and independently
- Appreciates a positive workplace culture where everyone supports each other, pitches in and has a laugh along the way
- Is available to work full time Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with very occasional Saturday availability to cover sick or annual leave

Previous experience in the outdoor power equipment, hardware or machinery industries will be highly regarded, but we mostly value a positive attitude and are happy to train and support the right person in this role.

Ongoing product and industry training will also be on offer, as will staff discounts on equipment and other perks such as staff lunches and bonuses.
