About the Role

The Airline Quality Program Manager is responsible for leading the design, governance, integration and continuous improvement of Alliance Airlines’ Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Program. Working across a complex, multi-fleet and multi-base operation, the role provides strategic oversight of audit, surveillance, risk and compliance activities, ensuring the Quality Program remains effective, data-driven, independent and risk-based.

Partnering closely with Responsible Managers and Executive Leadership, you will provide expert regulatory advice, identify systemic risks and opportunities, and drive initiatives that strengthen quality performance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and govern the organisation’s Quality Program across all operational, maintenance, training and support areas.
- With relevant departmental Quality Managers, ensure compliance with all CASA regulatory requirements including CASR Parts 42, 119, 121, 142, 145 and 147.
- Maintain, review and enhance the company QMS framework ensuring independence, integrity and alignment with CASA expectations.
- Oversee integration of QMS, SMS & SeMS elements to ensure cohesive safety and quality performance.
- Provide expert regulatory interpretation, guidance and direction to Executive, Responsible Managers and departmental leaders
- Own the enterprise Audit & Surveillance Program, including planning,



risk‑based scheduling, auditor assignment and performance monitoring.
- Ensure execution of internal audits, external provider audits, vendor assurance, contract compliance, Part 121 and Part 142 audit programs.
- Maintain oversight of eSMS Quality Module findings, corrective actions and timeliness of closure.
- Host CASA, IOSA, customer and third‑party audits and coordinate organisational responses.
- Ensure the Quality Program supports compliant management of organisational change under CASR Parts 42 and 145 change submission requirements.
- Lead the implementation of risk‑based audit methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Safety Data & Reporting functions with Quality insights, trends, root cause analysis, systemic risk identification and enterprise performance dashboards.
- Provide Quality Program performance reporting to the Head of Safety, Executive Safety Action Group (ESAG) and Management Review Meetings (MRM).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced quality professional with the ability to design, implement and govern enterprise-level Quality Programs within a complex operational environment. You will bring a high level of competency in Quality and Safety Management Systems (QMS/SMS), with experience in SafetyManager365 highly regarded, alongside advanced regulatory interpretation skills and the ability to provide sound advice to Responsible Managers. Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching capability is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have demonstrated analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify systemic issues and drive meaningful continuous improvement. Experience managing multidisciplinary and multi-certificate audit programs,



with a solid focus on compliance, assurance and operational excellence, will be highly valued.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Quality, Engineering, Safety Management or related discipline.
- Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 / AS 9100 or equivalent).
- Recognised training in Risk Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Formal training in SMS, QMS and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of CASR Parts 42, 119, 121, 142, 145, 147 and associated MOS requirements.
- Strong understanding of enterprise Quality Management Systems and audit governance.
- In‑depth knowledge of risk‑based surveillance methodologies and safety‑quality integration.
- Knowledge of IOSA, BARS, IOGP and customer assurance frameworks.
- Understanding of documentation control, change management and exposition structures.
- Ability to design and govern enterprise‑level Quality Programs.
- High competency in QMS/SMS systems, preferably iQSMS.
