ShawX Manufacturing is seeking a Human Resources Executive to join our team on a part-time basis at our Cleveland, QLD 4163 location. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key strategic role in supporting our growing manufacturing business. As a Human Resources Executive, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with our business objectives whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation. This role offers the flexibility of part-time work, allowing you to balance professional development with personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

- Providing generalist HR support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning and development
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding of new employees
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture
- Supporting employee relations matters, including performance management conversations and conflict resolution
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws, awards and enterprise agreements
- Coordinating training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capability
- Maintaining accurate HR records and databases
- Supporting management with workforce planning and organisational design matters

What we're looking for

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional HR experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a HR role such as advisor, manager or executive position within a manufacturing or similar operational environment




- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, awards and workplace relations legislation
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations and performance management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality
- A team-oriented approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting employee wellbeing
