Barring Construction is committed to completing every project to a high standard while maintaining safety, efficiency and client satisfaction. Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Annandale, Queensland.

The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of carpentry duties associated with residential and commercial construction projects, including measuring, cutting, assembling, installing and repairing timber structures and fixtures in accordance with construction standards, building codes and project specifications. Key Responsibilities

- Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine materials,

measurements and installation requirements.

- Select and prepare timber and other building materials and organise layouts for carpentry work.
- Measure, cut and shape timber and related materials using hand and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Assemble and install structural frameworks, flooring systems, wall frames,



roof structures and other timber components.
- Install and secure doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, architraves and other building fixtures.
- Construct, fit and join timber structures and components for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Repair, replace or renovate damaged timber structures, fittings and other carpentry

elements as required.

- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with Australian building standards, workplace safety requirements and project specifications.

Essential Skills and Experience

- AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV in Carpentry, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one (1) year of relevant full time work experience as a Carpenter.
- Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction methods and building materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools, machinery and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
