Cardiff Care Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to lead and oversee the daily operations of our community pharmacy in Cardiff, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to manage a dynamic retail pharmacy environment whilst ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy professionals and support staff, driving business growth, and ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care and advice.

What you'll be doing

- Overseeing all daily operational activities of the pharmacy, including stock management, inventory control, and ordering of pharmaceutical products
- Leading, supervising, and motivating the pharmacy team to ensure excellent customer service standards and a positive work environment
- Managing staff schedules, training, performance management and development opportunities for pharmacy team members
- Ensuring strict adherence to all pharmacy legislation, regulations, and professional standards, including TGA requirements and medication safety protocols
- Implementing and monitoring quality assurance procedures and best practice standards within the pharmacy
- Managing financial performance, budgeting, cash handling, and profitability of the store
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical suppliers
- Promoting health and wellness services offered by the pharmacy and driving customer engagement initiatives
- Addressing customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on pharmacy performance metrics and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a pharmacy manager or in a senior pharmacy retail position, ideally within a community pharmacy setting




- Current pharmacy qualifications recognised in Australia ( Support the sale of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Only Medicine)
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical products, and customer care standards
- 5. Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and business performance analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure in a quick-paced environment
- Commitment to health and safety standards and customer confidentiality
- Professional demeanour and a passion for delivering excellent pharmaceutical care
