CQTex is seeking experienced Wireless & Radio Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of communications systems across multiple sites.

This is a hands‑on role working on modern wireless and radio technologies in mining and agricultural environments. You’ll be working 12-hour shifts on a day‑shift‑only roster, with a solid focus on safety, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain Wi‑Fi network solutions

Install and maintain two‑way radio systems

Fault finding and troubleshooting across communications and technology systems

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Wireless or Radio Technician

Certificate III in Telecommunications (or higher)





Open Cabler Registration with endorsements in:

Optical Fibre

Structured Cabling

Coaxial

Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Working at Heights certification

High Risk Work Licence – Boom Type EWP (11m or greater)
