MPV Sandblasting and Coating Services is a proudly locally owned and operated Gladstone Business with a strong reputation for delivering abrasive blasting, protective coatings and industrial maintenance services across Central Queensland.

As our Maintenance and onsite services division continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Services Supervisor to join our Team.

Industrial Services Supervisor - About the Role:

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a motivated individual who enjoys leading crews, coordinating work, building client relationships and contributing to project success. While supervisory responsibilities are a key part of the role, you will also be prepared to assist the team on the tools when required and lead by example in the field.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising industrial blasting, painting and maintenance activities across multiple client sites. You will support the planning and delivery of works while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities
- Lead,mentor and support operational crews
- Assist with planning, scheduling and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Conduct Pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and workplace inspections
- Liaise with clients and site reqpresentatives
- Monitor productivity and project progress
- Coordinate equipment, materials and consumables




- Complete daily reporting and project documentation
- Support quality inspections and project close-out activities
- Assist with blasting, painting and Maintenance tasks when required.

About you:

- Cert III Surface Preparation & Coating Application
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- EWP Licence
- Previous experience leading crews within industrial maintenance, blasting, painting or construction environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to plan, organise and coordinate work activities
- Current Drivers Licence
- White Card
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to Lead by example and remain hand-on when required

Highly regarded:

- Experience within LNG, mining, ports and or heavy industrial environments
- Estimating or project coordination experience
