Capers Early Learning Samford is looking for a permanent part time Kitchen Hand with Centre Cleaning duties working hours between 7:30am-2pm, Monday to Friday.

The Job:

Assisting in the preparation of meals alongside our Centre Cook

Be responsible for cooking all meals in Centre Cooks absence.

General cleaning duties of the Centre

Participating in 6 monthly food audits

Interaction with families and children

Other duties may include culinary classes with children aged 1 to 5 years

Capersprovide the meals for up to 130 children per day,



so the ideal candidate will:

Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Hold a current blue card

Strong Communication and Relationship-building skills.

Undertake first aid training with CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.

Cater for children with food allergies(risk management)

Be reliable and hard-working, with the ability to work independently.
