This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.

The Position

The Electronics Technician Apprenticeship at CEA Technologies is an exciting chance for individuals who are keen to kick start their career in Electronics and Communications.

Throughout the 4 year apprenticeship you will gain hands on experience in real-world environments, one-on-one mentorship from industry leading subject matter experts, extensive career growth opportunities and competitive remuneration.

If you are a motivated individual with a passion for problem solving, a genuine interest in electronics and are eager to gain the skills and knowledge to qualify as an Electronics Technician, this may be the apprenticeship for you.

Key Responsibilities

Attend the nominated tertiary education provider as required (one day a week); record skills gained in a timely manner (Ready Skills evidence) and pass all required subjects for qualification as an Electronics Technician.

Participate in rotational placements,



as determined by the Apprentice Supervisor.

Participate in learning activities and formal assessment (CIT or CEA led) to build technical skills and meet the formal training plan requirements. Weekly tutoring attendance as required.

Achieve and consistently apply knowledge of safety, security and quality procedures that contribute to business sustainability.

Perform other related duties as required.

You are curious to learn how things work, take responsibility and have the drive, dedication, and self-motivation to deliver allocated tasks and support your teammates. You have reliable hand/eye coordination, consistent and comprehensive attention to detail and can maintain focus in various environments. You have good observational and problem-solving skills. You are honest and transparent in everything you do; you take pride in your work, reliably attending your classes and work.

Sound proficiency in Maths (year 10 level or above)

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Reliable self-starter who enjoys learning new things and finding opportunities to improve

- o Countries of current or past citizenship (including any dual citizenship or nationality) and residence,
- o Countries of issue for current and past passports and




- o Other information related to their nationality for security and ITAR compliance purposes.
