HAPPYSOUL CATERING PTY is looking for Skilled Head Chefs to join our dedicated kitchen team to run our outlets located within Narrabri RSL Club located at 7 Maitland St, Narrabri NSW 2390 Australia As a Head Chef in our Happysoul Catering Group you’ll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality across every service.

You’ll lead by example, from hands‑on cooking to mentoring your team and maintaining robust cost and quality controls. Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, staff supervision, and consistent quality.
- Coordinating daily service and kitchen operation
- Preparing and cooking food
- Menu development and daily specials
- Managing stock control,



ordering and food costing
- Ensure quality and presentation of all foods.
- Training and developing kitchen staff.
- Manage staff rosters to ensure efficient coverage and optimal workflow.
- Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
- Advising on cooking procedures and demonstrating techniques
- Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
- Maintaining quality, preparation and presentation of dishes quality
- Implementing systems & procedures
- Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace.
- Select and train staff.
- Freeze and preserve foods.

Key Requirement

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery & Diploma Level
- Minimum 1 – 2 years experience as a Chef in a similar role
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Honest, humble, and results-driven

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
