Our client, GNH Engineering Pty Ltd, was founded in 2016 in Cloncurry provides fitting and machining services to the mining and construction industries. The Role:
To assemble aluminium components in accordance with work instruction & drawings from supervisor and production staff.
- Conduct the work in line with the standard job builds / SOP.
- Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensure work is built to appropriate standards and within time constraints
- Report broken / damaged machinery, making sure all problems are tagged out correctly
- Weld and fabricate as required and to specifications
- Abide by Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules
- Participate in staff consultation and communications such as Toolbox Talks and training.
2 Full time Positions
$85,000-$95,000 PA depending on the work experience.
Location: QLD
During the conduct of this role you may be required:
- Lift, carry and maneuvers material and equipment through physical and mechanical means
- Wear specialized protective equipment
- Perform general physical activities including climbing, balancing, sitting and walking
- Perform whole body movements that can include twisting, squatting, kneeling, bending and crawling
- Perform sustained physical activities
- Operate both handheld tooling and heavier machinery
- Work at height or within a confined space.
The Person:
- Trade Qualified in a relevant industry is required
- Health and Safety training is desirable
- Extensive fabrication experience
- Understanding of Safe Work Practices
- Good ability to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
