NGW Fasteners is seeking a Store Assistant to join our team at our Edgeworth location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining smooth retail operations. As a Store Assistant, you will be the backbone of our store, ensuring our customers receive outstanding support whilst our products and services remain well-organised and accessible. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and help drive the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to retail customers, answering product inquiries and assisting with purchases
- Restocking shelves and displays to ensure products are well-presented and readily available
- Operating the till system accurately and processing customer payments using various payment methods
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised store environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with stock management, including receiving, checking and labelling inventory
- Supporting promotional activities and ensuring marketing materials are displayed appropriately
- Building positive relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary
- Performing general administrative tasks as required to support store operations
