Full Time Pharmacy Assistant / Dispensary Technician
Emporio Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy committed to providing exceptional healthcare, professional services and personalised customer care. We are currently seeking a Full Time Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensary Technician to join our friendly and supportive team. Competitive and negotiable hourly rate is being offered, dependent on candidate skills and experience.
We offer a flexible roster to suit the successful applicant. Availability to work alternate Saturdays is essential.
There are no evening shifts, no Sunday work, and we are closed on all public holidays, allowing our team to enjoy an excellent work-life balance.
About the Role
Working under the supervision of the registered pharmacist on duty, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our pharmacy. This is a varied position where you'll work closely with our pharmacists and dispensary team, assisting with:
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of the registered pharmacist on duty
- General dispensary duties
- Ordering and stock management
- Webster packing
- Completing customer deliveries using our company vehicle
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided; however, we’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn new skills.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous pharmacy experience (essential)
- A current driver's licence (essential)
- An S2/S3 Certificate (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to our dispensary and Webster packing services
