We're after a dependable general hand to support our grounds maintenance crew across sites in South-East Queensland. Day to day you'll be working alongside experienced operators — mowing, slashing, trimming, and keeping properties tidy for council, commercial, and government clients. No two days are the same, and there's plenty of room to grow your skills and take on more responsibility over time.

Key responsibilities

- Mowing, line trimming, edging, and general grounds upkeep across a variety of sites
- Assist operators with slashing and vegetation management tasks in the field
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials; assist with site setup and pack-down
- Carry out basic cleaning and care of tools and equipment at the end of each day
- Follow WHS procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a secure working environment at all times
- General yard duties at depot as required

Current C class (car) — required

Grounds maintenance — preferred





About you

- Current, clean car licence — this role involves travel between sites
- Some experience with mowing, slashing, or outdoor maintenance is a real advantage
- Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all Queensland weather
- Reliable, on time, and takes direction well
- A team player who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty
- No formal qualifications needed — attitude and reliability matter most
