Our client is seeking a motivated and proactive Customer Service & Sales Officer to join their team based in Mackay. About the Role

As a Customer Service & Sales Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders, and providing product information while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. Working closely with the operations team, you'll ensure customers receive a seamless experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Process customer orders, quotations, invoices, and delivery documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify sales opportunities and promote relevant products and services
- Proactively follow up customer enquiries and quotations
- Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure on-time fulfilment
- Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer records and data entry
- Provide administrative support to the wider team as required

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, or a similar role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach with the confidence to identify sales opportunities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Current Driver's Licence (preferred)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
